WHAT DOES PAYUCA MEAN?

Payuca is a word in “lunfardo Argentino”, a dialect or slang proper of our folklore, used to describe people from small towns and villages, from the Argentine provinces, who generally ignore city customs and who are considered as slow by people from the big cities. It is also used to call farmers or people from small towns and who come to the cities for visiting or living.

CAMPING

Camping is an important activity in our trips along South America. Campsites may vary from established sites with good facilities (bathrooms, showers, food stores) to occasional free-camping in the wild where you are totally self-sufficient. We provide spacious two-person tents and passengers are expected to participate in the setting up at each campsite.

MEALS

Good food is a must to ensure a successful adventure. We include three meals a day during camping and special diets may also be prepared, you just have to let us know when you book your trip. All meals are prepared by our specialised cook and organised by the tour leader, and travellers are expected to actively participate and help in preparing meals. When staying in hotels, meals are not included and you are free to choose your own type of food from local restaurants.
